In those days a Hudson Bay's Trading Post and an American Fur Trading Post were also established posts in this County. - Opportunities for outdoor recreation abound here! - About 90percent forested, there are 1,153 inland lakes in this County. Some of the larger lakes are Gogebic Lake, Cisco Chain of Lakes, and Lac Vieux Desert. It also has more than 30 miles of Lake Superior shoreline. - There are over 1,200 miles of rivers and streams and more than 32 waterfalls. - The Kakabika Falls are only a Half+ mile away for the Property Offered for sale - just before the road crosses the West Branch of the Ontonagon River.
